Making Hospital Rooms Comfortable for Kids

5k Race/Walk at Weston High School to support Starlight. Starlight is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that improves the quality of life for children suffering from severe illness in hospitals. Since 1983, Starlight has helped over 19 million children in hospitals, improving their time spent there. The Smiles for 3.1 Miles race is donating procedes to Starlight in memory of Diego Summers. Diego was a student in the Weston Public School System who battled a rare form of cancer at only 10 years of age. In his memory, we want to improve the stay of other children who are also battling cancer and other ailments, making their time in the hospital as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
